Health and education rates are still low in Bangladesh, although these are declining in recent times.
In order to ensure proper healthcare for every citizen of Bangladesh, a broad network of administrative websites of Bangladesh has been established. It is a healthcare network spreading from across the country to the level of the community from healthcare facilities to community level. The infrastructure of the health care center can be divided into three levels: medical university, medical college hospital, specialized hospital at third level. District hospital, mother and child welfare center are considered as secondary level. Upazila (sub district) health complex, union health and family welfare center, community clinic (lowest level health facilities) are primary level health care providers. Various NGOs (non-government organizations) and non-government organizations also contribute to this complex health network. [2] [3]
In the parliamentary budget of 2017-18, only 16,203 crore 36 lakhs budget has been set for the health sector. [4]
